Chimney Sweeping Terms and Conditions:
- Service Scope: Our chimney sweeping service includes the removal of soot, creosote, debris, and other obstructions from the chimney flue and components. We strive to provide a thorough cleaning to ensure the safe and efficient operation of your chimney system.
- Safety Precautions: Prior to commencing any work, our technicians will conduct a visual inspection of the chimney to assess its condition and identify any potential safety hazards. We reserve the right to refuse service if we deem the chimney to be unsafe or if there are any risks to our technicians or your property. We will not take responsibility of fallen cowls/ chimney termination that occurs in the progress of our visit as they will be deemed unsafe before our arrival.
- Access and Preparation: It is the responsibility of the homeowner to provide clear and safe access to the chimney and surrounding area. This includes moving any furniture or obstacles that may impede the technician's access to the chimney. Failure to provide adequate access may result in additional charges or rescheduling of the service.
- Notification of Hazards: It is important for homeowners to inform our technicians of any known hazards or issues related to the chimney, such as previous chimney fires, structural damage, or animal infestations. This information helps us tailor our service to address specific concerns and ensure the safety of our technicians.
- Payment Terms: Payment for chimney sweeping services is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. We accept various forms of payment, including cash, cheque or bank transfer (BACS) Any additional charges for extra services or materials will be communicated to the homeowner before the work is performed.
- Guarantee: We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. If you are not satisfied with the results of our chimney sweeping service, please contact us within a reasonable timeframe to discuss your concerns. We will make every effort to address any issues and ensure your complete satisfaction.
- Liability: While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of your property during the chimney sweeping process, we cannot be held liable for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Homeowners are encouraged to review their homeowner's insurance policy to ensure adequate coverage for chimney maintenance services.
- Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your chimney sweeping appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee being applied.
